Eva Walter is an independent graphic designer who creates brands and materials for international, as well as unique San Francisco businesses. She has been based in Mill Valley for 15 years, creating work for companies like Siemens, Redbrick Health, IDC, Paperculture and Adaptive Path.
Prior to starting her own business, Eva was a senior designer for MetaDesign San Francisco, where she worked on design projects for Nike, Adobe, Intel, Sony and Hewlett Packard.
Before moving to San Francisco, Eva worked as a lead designer at MetaDesign Berlin. She was part of the corporate design team, which developed the corporate identity for Volkswagen.
Her design work has been widely recognized and published internationally.
Eva has taught Graphic Design at the California College of Arts. She also has a keen interest in typography. She has designed a headline font that is distributed by FontShop International.
Eva received her Masters degree of Fine Arts at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach am Main and continued her design education with a scholarship for postgraduate studies at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Zürich.
